Walt was born in Washington DC and grew up in Owings Mills, Maryland in a Christian family. He is married to Barbara. They have one adopted son, Tyler. Walt has been a PCA minister for 25+ years serving in revitalization, church planting, and missions contexts. A significant part of his work in his Presbytery has been helping churches in distress or transition. Walt enjoys being outdoors, meeting new people, reading a good book, watching an adventure movie, eating a well-prepared meal, and working with his hands.
