Ron was born in Logan, WV and is a graduate of Marshall University (1976) and Reformed Theological Seminary (1986). He has been in full-time ministry since 1978 when he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ’s Music Ministry. He was ordained into the PCA in 1986 and has served in most every aspect of pastoral ministry—solo pastor, renewal pastor, church planter, associate pastor, interim pastor. Ron also served with World Harvest Mission/Serge in Budapest, Hungary for six years doing renewal work with mission teams and national pastors and church leaders across the former Soviet Union. Ron and his wife Gayle have been married for over 40 years and have four children and 10 grandchildren. He enjoys golf, road cycling, walking in the woods, British mysteries, guitar music, and dinners out with Gayle.
