Dave Muntsinger

Coach

I have worked in pastoral ministry for more than 20 years (PCA and non-denominational), serving in various pastoral positions including senior pastor, adult discipleship, care and counseling, and singles ministry. I received my Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and have served at churches ranging in size from 300 to 3000 members. Outside the church I have worked as an IT Project Manager (Marriott Corporation), a Director of Operations and Sales (The Barrington Group), and a Wealth Advisor (Northwestern Mutual).

I am drawn to coaching pastors because I know that leadership can be lonely and isolating. Those who have a coach have greater kingdom impact and vitality, and I have a coach's heart that takes joy in helping others reach their potential. In my coaching work I seek to help pastors and ministry leaders where they suffer their greatest struggles:

  • Relational IQ

  • Achieving measurable ministry results

  • Knowing, celebrating and ministering from their temperament and skill set

  • Living life in light of the gospel and allowing God's grace to permeate every facet of one's life

My main goals in coaching are:

  • To bolster pastors' marriages and family lives,

  • Strengthen relationships with church leaderships to renew vision and mission clarity for their church

  • Help pastors to lead gospel ministry from a refreshed and joyful heart

I've been married to my wife, Jana, for 28 years and have three wonderful high school and college aged kids.  I enjoy exercise and sports of all types and ride the MS 150 every year with my ‘cyclopath’ friends. Jana and I love to travel the world and go on mission trips.  I'm a lover of great cuisine, music, art, theology, and discussing the major issues of life. I grew up in Pittsburgh but consider myself a Texan.
